arslan_babyHello, I’m— let’s just call me a-b. I can’t decide on a permanent handle so anything’s fine. Anyway, I joined Dreamwidth 2 years ago (give or take) because I was interested in a non-Big Tech web, but ended not really using it for proper online blogging purposes because I didn’t really know how you make friends on this website anyway. However, I realized I really like the way Dreamwidth works — the features and all that — and want to use this site more properly. So this blog is being revamped*! Here are the things I would like to do:
This is partly because I’m leaving way too many tabs open on my mobile phone’s browser. :sweat: I accidentally moved all my open tabs to the Private tab group (how that happened I have no idea), then ended up opening another 70 in the Default group anyway, in but 2-3 weeks.
Before I have just been leaving things around haphazardly with the mindset that nobody’s actually seeing them anyway, but now I want to make my blog nice and neat for any visitors passing by. I suppose?
I remembered halfway through writing this that on DW the terminology is “journal” but anyway. I realized even if finding people by interests wouldn’t turn up posts about that interest, which is what typically happen when you use the topmost search bar on other sites, reading about other things people have been up to is also very interesting. Gonna make use of the Memories function!

This is a bit of a stretch, but using the same ready-made template for 2 years does get a bit boring… No concrete plan for that as of now though.

1. Post weekly or monthly round-ups of interesting links I found.
